Sometimes you want to write something yourself, and sometimes you read something that captures it so perfectly that you don’t have to.
Today, that post is Things You Miss When You’ve Been Single Too Long, by Eleni Zoe. She sums it up as well as I could aspire to. Especially this one:
You miss goodnight messages. When you’re single nobody cares if you sleep well or not. Nobody cares if you have sweet dreams. You miss knowing someone gives a shit about your night-time travels.
Good night, readers. Single or not, I do give a shit about your night-time travels.
Goodnight, Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite. I think we single people should start sending each other goodnight messages.
I like this idea. Good night Eleni! (even though you’re probably waking up soon!)
Mmm, I definitely can relate to this. Does being bombarded at 3 am with drunk overly flowery text messages from your emotionally stunted ex count? No, no it does not. But at least it’s something?
Ha, I am well versed in the late night text message. Definitely not the same… though you’re right, it’s at least something!
